Novus awarded Persian Gulf permit


Sydney-based Novus Petroleum today informed the Australian Stock Exchange that it has been awarded an exploration block covering approximately 600 square kilometres in the United Arab Emirates. Novus will operate the onshore Ras al-Khaimah block with a 100% working interest.

Novus told the market that the award of the concession represents a new country entry for the company and is a further demonstration of its commitment to gas exploration in the Persian Gulf region.
