Western Australia's biggest debt collection agency, newly listed Repcol, has secured an exclusive contract with WA natural gas distributor and retailer, AlintaGas. The contract term is for two years, with two one-year options.

Repcol has previously provided collection services to AlintaGas, but shared the account with other debt collectors.

Many in the market believe that companies such as Repcol are cashing in on the growing desire of mainstream financial institutions and utilities like AlintaGas to outsource their debt collection operations or sell off distressed debt ledges.

Repcol was founded by Peter Di Prinzio in 1973 and has grown to become WA's biggest debt collection agency with operations in NSW and Victoria.
