Smegsy brought forward

ASX newcomers, Great Artesian Oil & Gas and Enterprise Energy, have brought forward plans to drill their Cooper Basin, Smegsy-1 well, to the week of the 12th July.

Enterprise Energy's asset portfolio.

The well is a test of an anticlinal trap in central eastern portion of PEL 106, located five kilometres east of the Santos-operated Jack Lake oilfield and 12km northeast of the Raven and Moonanga fields, also operated by Santos.

It is targetting an estimated 7-40 bcf gas prospect at 2980m using Century Rig-3.

Enterprise is paying 50% of the drilling costs to earn 25%.
