Jeff Thorpe has been appointed Consultancy Manager for The Peak Group. PEAK is a worldwide supplier of consultants to the oil and gas industry, particularly in the field of well construction engineering specialists. The company has recently tripled the size of its Perth office as part of an international expansion.

GHD has appointed Brisbane-based Steve Liddell as Service Line Leader for Gas Processing and Distribution. Liddell was a director of Integrated Pipeline Services until the strategic acquisition of the company in 1999.

Brisbane based engineering company Ausenco Ltd has appointed Wayne Goss as Chairman of the company's Board. The former Premier of Queensland and most recently the Managing Partner of the Queensland operations of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu will join the board as a non-executive Chairman.

Carnarvon Petroleum Ltd has moved and also appointed Trevor Stuart Irwin as the new Melbourne-based Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. The appointment will take effect from 2 June 2003.
